Reporting to the COO the Staff Accountant will be a key contributor in building a dynamic accounting and finance organization focused on supporting our growth strategy. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to work in a fast-paced, dynamic biotech environment.

Responsibilities

​

• Assist Accountants to create and edit financial documents.

• Organize the bookkeeping processes of the company;

• Manage expense reports and reimbursement;

• Create P.O. and reconcile invoices for the company;

• Help on annual tax return, filings, etc.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (or equivalent business experience) with 3-5 years of progressively responsible accounting experience

• Prior experience in biotech or pharmaceutical industry; experience in a startup strongly preferred 

• Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures

• Familiarity with finance regulations

• Hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks)

• Ability to handle confidential financial information appropriately

• Excellent organizational, analytical, and quantitative skills
